This year visitors will have the pleasure of buying plants at the biggest indigenous plant sale ever hosted here with nurseries such as New Plant, Radermachers, Norgasrivier, Petals, Die Bof, GRBG Volunteers Nur-sery, Aloe Care and various other growers all participating.
Indigenous plants such as succulents, aloes, bulbs, medicinal plants, shrubs, trees, proteas, ericas, restios, annuals, perennials, flowers and herbs will be available in abundance. Furthermore, expert gardening advice will be available along with other supplies to satisfy people’s gardening needs.
Important environmental bo-dies will be exhibiting. These will include Cape Nature, WESSA, George Lakes Bird Club, department of water affairs and forestry, Landmark Foundation, SANParks and George municipality.
Furthermore, food stalls, a tea garden, faerie garden, jumping castle, live music, DJ, beer garden, talks and demonstrations and a botanical book stall will keep visitors busy.
Opening times are: Friday 8 October 09:00 to 21:00 and Saturday 9 October 08:00 to 15:00.
