ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - The George Music Society will present three of South Africa’s most renowned musicians, Elna van der Merwe, an acclaimed pianist, Lynelle Kenned, a dynamic South African soprano, and William Berger, one of South Africa’s most successful baritones, for their programme, Some Enchanted Evening.
Beautiful music from the operas, musicals as well as a few lieder such as “O Mio Babbino Caro” by Puccini, South Pacific’s “Some Enchanted Evening” and “Heimwee” by S le Roux Marais are on the menu.
This exciting concert will take place at the DR Mother Church at 19:00 on Tuesday 15 September.
Tickets are R190 for the public, R50 for learners and R150 for George Music Society members, and will be available at the concert or on www.georgemusicsociety.co.za.
