Audition for The Greatest Show

GEORGE NEWS - The Dotsure George Arts Theatre is looking for local talent to sing and dance in Broadway - The Greatest Show which will be staged in May.

High on the list of priorities are men who can sing and dance. Director Schalk Visagie is also looking for children between Grades 4 to 8 and ladies to complete his cast.

"For this show we are looking for people who can both sing and dance," said Visagie. "What will make this show unique is the choreography for all group numbers for the entire cast.

"You don't need to be a trained dancer or have dancing background, but you would need to be comfortable learning and executing a fair amount of dance steps. The choreography for some of the numbers is based on actual Broadway productions."
