GEORGE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Andrew Young is back and ready to wow the audience at the George Arts Theatre.
Europe’s most successful saxophonist, Andrew Young, will once again bring his own blend of smooth jazz, blues, pop, rock and even a touch of classical thrown in with flawless technique and imaginative musicianship.
Andrew’s ability to bring something new and fresh to every performance has created a following of fans eager to see his concerts and shows with performances sold out year after year.
As part of Andrew’s commitment to promoting South African musicians he will be accompanied by one of Cape Town’s top musicians, pianist Tony Drake and George’s own songstress, Beatrice Esterhuysen.
Born and raised in Liverpool, England, Andrew is often invited to perform in South Africa.
Andrew Young and band will bring Saxology to the Oakhurst Insurance George Arts Theatre on Thursday 5 March at 19:30. Tickets are R150 available on Computicket or at the theatre box office.
