Skoene vir kaalvoetstapper van Borcherds
'n Dertienjarige kaalvoetkampioen van Borcherds met twee nasionale staptitels agter sy naam, oefen deesdae met helder oranje tekkies wat deur die beroemde Suid-Afrikaanse langafstandatleet, Elana Meyer, geskenk is. Durando Aweries, 'n gr.7-leerder van Heidedal Primêr, is baie opgewonde oor die verrassingspakkie wat verlede Woensdag by sy huis afgelaai is. Meyer het gesorg vir 'n hele boks vol atletiekklere en twee pare oefenskoene nadat sy van Durando se omstandighede te hore gekom het.
