An amazing weekend of surf and fun was had. This was the second year that the event was held and it was a great success. The contest is named after well-loved Knysna surfer who passed away two years ago.
The organisers thanked everyone who took part in and supported the event. "It was greatly appreciated to find that so many people were so keen to give donations and their time. A huge thanks to our sponsors Cheron Kraak from Country Feeling who again was fantastically generous and also supplied a magnificent floating trophy. A thanks to Billabong and Excel as well who sponsored prizes," said Brett Staegemann, one of the organisers.
"The memory of Ross Taylor who brought us all together for a weekend of love, great fun and good vibes will live on. A big appreciation to Neptune for producing waves all weekend," he said.
