A record of 57 kids between the ages of 10 and 17 entered for the competition. Besides the serious surfing at the point break there was also lots of fun in the beach break amongst the under 10s and 12s.
The level of surfing is improving with every contest and in two of the finals the first and second places were decided with less than a point’s difference.
Once again Giant Just Water was there to support the event with prizes for podium finishes.
