GEORGE NEWS - The Southern Cape Bass Angler, Jade Badenhorst received his junior bass angling Protea colours after the interprovincial tournament held at the Albert Falls Dam in KwaZulu-Natal.

The Eastern Division team, comprising of Southern Cape, Border and Eastern Province, finished second which is a huge honour for the team members.

The fishing was extremely tough and brought out the best in the anglers.

In the individual competition Badenhorst finished 5th and another Southern Cape angler, Darren du Preez, finished 12th which means that they were amongst the top thirteen which forms the national team.

Badenhorst urged young and old to join the club socially or for competitions.
