GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The excitement is building in George as the SWD Eagles launch their 2026 SA Cup campaign tomorrow. 

Fans are invited to Outeniqua Park at 18:00 on Friday 6 March, to see the Eagles take on the Airlink Pumas in what promises to be a thrilling season opener. 

Gates open at 14:00, with a curtain-raiser from 15:00, including a U11 clash at 16:15 featuring Van Reede Primary vs Hoekwil Primary. 

Tickets are R40 for adults and R20 for learners (12 years and older), with parking at Heatherlands High available for R20.

Fans can look forward to a full roster of exciting matches this season, starting with the opener against the Airlink Pumas, followed by games against the Border Bulldogs on 14 March at I Sisa Dukashe Stadium, the EP Elephants on 21 March at NMB Stadium, the Sanlam Boland Cavaliers on 28 March at Outeniqua Park, the Valke on 11 April at Barnard Stadium, the Toyota Cheetahs on 18 April anthe Griffons on 25 April on home turf, the Suzuki Griquas on 2 May at Suzuki Stadium, and concluding the season against the Leopards on 9 May at home.
