GEORGE NEWS - The SWD EaGirls take on the Griffons this weekend during an away game in Welkom for their third match in the Women’s First Division. The EaGirls are currently second on the log with 10 points following victories over the Valke (41-24) and the Leopards (31-14). 

They have a game in hand and will aim to move above the Valke, who are currently top of the log with 11 points.

EaGirls coach Elize Arandse says she is expecting a tough match this weekend and predicts that both the EaGirls and Griffons will be well prepared for the match. 

SWD has no injuries going into the weekend.

The SWD EaGirls' individual performances in the First Division stats are: Antonecia Hannies currently has the second most points scored in the First Division with 17 and the most conversions with six. 

Chante Jonck has scored the fourth most tries in the league with three.
