SPORT NEWS - Promising George rugby talent Chanelle Britz (19) has taken another significant step in her career after being selected for the Free State U20 Women’s Rugby team.
Britz is currently representing the province at a tournament in Alberton, taking place from 26 April to 1 May - the latest milestone in what has been a steady climb through the ranks.
She first made headlines with her rapid progress in women’s rugby, showcasing her versatility, determination and strong work ethic on the field.
Her continued inclusion in higher-level squads reflects both her development as a player and her growing reputation in the sport.
“We are incredibly proud and immensely grateful for this opportunity,” said her father, Albert Britz.
The family has supported the determined young rugby star every step of the way and continues to cheer her on from the sidelines.
