GEORGE BOWLS NEWS - At the halfway mark of the Lew Geffen Sotheby's International Realty Summer Business Bowling League, York High School tops the table, two points ahead of Lew Geffen Sotheby's International Realty and George High 1.
As usual, the teams will be split going forward into two sections, with the top 16 teams contesting the league title while the remaining 14 teams will play in the Plate Division.
Despite big wins by York High and Retail IT, the winners of the session prize for the biggest win of the evening were team Ricoh, who now leads the Plate Division with 23 points. DC Partner, Outeniqua Woods, Heineken and Mazars Gold are all within one point of the leaders.
The prize-giving included lucky draw prizes from Tredici, Hair Smart and Heineken and the "melktertjies for touches" were sponsored by Ricoh.
Team Ricoh were the winners of the session prize for the biggest win of the evening. They are, from left: Renaldo de Kock, Bertus Conradi, Bart Pullinger, Ruben Bruitenbach and Eddie Zandberg.
