GEORGE NEWS - Schools from across the Eden District participated in the inaugural Eden Hockey Cup last weekend 22 to 23 February.
This event also served as trials for the upcoming Interprovincial Tournaments taking place during the June/July holidays.
York High proudly entered six teams: u14A (boys and girls), u16A (boys and girls), and 1st Boys & Girls, into the two-day tournament. All six teams reached the finals, with four teams emerging victorious in their respective age groups.
"We are incredibly proud of our players for their sportsmanship, dedication, and resilience throughout the competition," says Jason Slater, director of sport at York High.
"A huge thank you to our staff, parents, and learners for their invaluable support in making this weekend a success."
