KNYSNA NEWS - The Knysna Heads Marathon saw sublime performances this morning, 8 March with Ignatious Ncube taking the top spot in the highly anticipated 42.2km marathon.
The race started bright and early at 06:00 at the scenic Thesen Island in Knysna. Following closely behind Ncube was Tholinhlanhla Shabalala, who secured a second-place finish.
In the women’s 42.2km marathon, Catherine Williamson emerged as the first female athlete to cross the finish line.

In addition to the 42.2km marathon, athletes took part in a 5km fun run, a 10km race, and the 21.1km half marathon.
The 42,2 km is a Comrades Marathon qualifying race.
