“You had so many dreams for our daughter. We often joked about how Lelethu pulled straws by choosing us as her crazy parents. I’m also glad that we managed to enjoy a few adventures with her before you departed.”
An emotional Letshego says she will continue flying the South African flag high because that's what her late husband would have wanted.
She says her husband was one of a kind.
“I was married to an amazing man. I shared him with all of you. He’s up there looking down at me and saying ‘My love, I’m sorry but I know you can go on, you can keep the flag flying’ and that’s what I’m going to do.”
The Nelson Mandela Foundation also called on mourners gathered at Zulu's memorial to emulate the late racing car driver by giving to others and living life to the fullest.
