GEORGE KARATE NEWS - Four members of the George Kobudo Shibu recently received their second dan black belt in the ancient art of Ryukyu Kobudo.
They are students of senseis Jannie and Rocher le Grange, both of whom are direct students of master Hiroshi Akamine Soke who resides in Okinawa, Japan.
The grading was conducted after a three-hour black belt gashuku covering the practical application in the Bo and Tunfa weapons.
Sensei Akemine (9th dan) will again visit George early next year and it is expected that senior international Kobudo Ka will also be in attendance.
