KARATE NEWS - Some students of the Kigai George Karate Club proudly represented the JKA Western Province team at the annual SAJKA National Karate Championship held in Johannesburg on 15 and 16 May.
This prestigious event, hosted at the Standard Bank Arena (Previously Ellis Park), saw over 3 000 competitors from across the country compete over two intense days.
Kigai George's students performed exceptionally well, earning top honours and qualifying for junior and senior SAJKA national colours.
The club extended its heartfelt congratulations to each of them for their outstanding achievements:
• Chloe-Leigh Appels - 3rd place, kata, and 3rd place, kumite
• Niaan Boshoff - 1st place, kata, and 2nd place, kumite
• Sensei William Graham - 1st place, kumite.
