GEORGE BOWLS NEWS - Another exciting and fun-filled evening was held at the George Bowling Club last Thursday for the third round of the Lew Geffen Sotheby's International Realty Spring Business League.
There were some close and some not-so-close games, with the session prize won by Daisy Solutions.
The evening ended with lovely prego rolls, perfectly braaied by members of the club.
The final round for both the Cup and Plate events will be played today, Thursday 26 November.
The leader board is very close in both divisions with FNB currently leading on 37 points, closely followed by the teams of Supporters and Tellcorp on 34 points each, and Russel Rich Foods on 31 points.
In the Plate event it is once again a tight race to the finish with the team from York High on 26 points, followed by Daisy Solutions and Stadler and Swart on 25 points, and Retail IT on 22 points.
An exciting last round is anticipated, with the final prize-giving and the traditional steak braai afterwards.
