GEORGE NEWS - With close to 500 entrants, the picturesque landscapes of Geelhoutboom were once again transformed into a hub of excitement and camaraderie as the Tour De Farm Challenge marked its eighth anniversary on Saturday, 27 April.
Hosted at 4 Brothers Aartappel Stoor, this year's event held special significance as it combined the beloved Farm Trail Run with the iconic MTB challenge.
Organised by Jakhals Events, the Tour De Farm Challenge has become an eagerly anticipated annual fundraiser for the Dutch Reformed Church in Blanco, drawing participants and spectators from far and wide.
With a diverse range of activities including a fun walk, trail run and mountain bike routes, the event offered something for everyone, catering to both seasoned athletes and recreational enthusiasts.
Xander Smuts (15) took second place in the 11km MTB men's race.
