GEORGE BOWLS NEWS - Load shedding could not dampen the enthusiasm and spirit of the players during the penultimate round of the Lew Geffen Sotheby's International Realty 2020 Business League at the George Bowling Club.
The current championship leaders, Daisy Solutions, sneaked an 11-10 win over Lew Geffen Sotheby's International Realty right at the end, consolidating their position.
Other notable performances in the championship came from FNB, whose 15-3 win earned them the session prize for the evening and moved them up to third position. Kempston Motors, newcomers to the Business League, were only one point behind, having won 16-5.
Raubenheimers Attorneys continued their winning ways in the Plate event and top the log. Other noteworthy performances came from Stanmar Motors and Seamans Renault, who climbed up to fifth and tenth positions respectively.
