BOWLS NEWS - The fourth round of the Lew Geffen Sotheby’s International Realty Spring Business League will be played tonight at the George Bowling Club, with 28 teams competing for the coveted cup and plate titles.
The Old Mutual Green Machine team took first place in round 1, with Die Miskruiers won round 2, and the Moore Blue team coming out on top in round 3.
With three of the six rounds completed, teams will be divided for the remaining three rounds, with the top 14 teams competing for the cup title and the bottom 14 teams contesting the plate.
In the cup section, the cumulative results after round 3 see Old Mutual currently in first place with 39 points, sponsors Lew Geffen Sotheby's in second place with 37 points and Watsons Meat in third place with 34 points.
In the plate section, the George High Rollerz are currently lying first with 24 points, with Matrix in second place with 23 points and the team from Dotsure in third place with 22 points.
