GEORGE NEWS - The 2019 Outeniqua Open Bridge Tournament, sponsored by Personal Trust, was held over the weekend of 22 to 24 November.
The prestigious tournament has been hosted by George for the last 16 years and this year attracted 72 top-level players, including Springboks.
Players from all over the country participate as this is a Red Point event, which enables players to accumulate red points in order to participate in international tournaments.
This year the winners were Team Moedi from Botswana. The runners-up were Team Stephens and in third place Team Apteker, both from Johannesburg.
