GEORGE NEWS - The points scoring method used during the Ricoh Action Bowls League has resulted in the top four teams each earning 8 points on the night and maintaining the status quo after round 5. ABSA remain 4 points clear of A&J Konstruksie, followed by Sothebys a further 3 points back. Still in the hunt are Debt Wise, Old Mutual and Just Movies.

The Plate event however was a totally different story.

Big wins for De Villiers and Moore, Stone-age and SSI (Some Special Individuals) means they now occupy the three top places, separated by only 4 points.

Imperial Ford, Smitties Number Plates and Millers are hot on their heels.

There will be no bowls this Thursday as the club will be hosting the Inter-districts Tournament. The 7th round will be played on 22 March and the final round on 29 March.
