GEORGE NEWS - Team 4Fun won the Lew Geffen/Sotheby's sponsored Business Bowling League Challenge after beating Eager Holdings 13-7 in the finals at the George Bowling Club last Thursday.
The winning team members were Kobus Heyman, Basil Steyn, Colin Coss and Alan van der Merwe.
Four Jacks moved from fourth position to second after beating Raubenheimers 15-9.
Although losing 7-13 to 4Fun, Eager Holdings had enough points to take third place. Sotheby's did very well in beating Supa Quick 14-9, moving from ninth to fourth place.
In the Plate section George High (2), who consisted of Rowan Jones, Patricia Meyer, André Jansen and Kevin van Niekerk, also had no problem in holding on to their lead by beating Mazars (B) 16-6.
Sapcor Insurance did extremely well to beat ADT Security 23-4, moving from sixth place to take the second spot.
Millers beat Lancewood Cheddar with a close 12-8 win to take third place, while Lancewood Cheddar had to settle for fourth place.
