GEORGE NEWS - The George Golf Club hosted the popular and fun challenge between against its neighbours, Fancourt, on Thursday 26 January.
The challenge has taken place for roughly 10 years and this was the first one since Covid struck in 2020. It was played in the betterball Stableford format.
The team of George Golf Club, that hosted the event, had great success in winning this year's challenge.
- Winners : Jaco van Niekerk and Pieter Ferreira on 44 points (George team)
- Runners-up : Jane Hutchings and Duda Moll on 43 points c/I (Fancourt team)
- 3rd : Clive Muller and Titch Moore on 43 points c/o (Fancourt team)
