GEORGE NEWS - For the fourth consecutive year, the local People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) has joined forces with the Shoebox Project for its annual fundraising golf day at the George Golf Club today, 28 October.
A whopping 120 players have confirmed attendance and they have wet hole sponsors for most of the tees as well.
"Every year this golf day just gets bigger and bigger," said PDSA manager Moira Gibbs.
“Should readers like to sponsor or play next year, I suggest they book well in advance to secure their spot.”
The format will be Four Ball Better-Ball with a scramble drive on par 4s and 5s. All funds raised will be donated to the George PDSA and the Shoe Box Project.
