The competition was held over five days at the Zebula Golf Estate near Bela-Bela in Limpopo. Although the area is in the grip of a severe drought, the tee boxes and greens were immaculate. A wide variety of game roams the course and the competitors were accompanied on the fairways by giraffe, eland, gemsbok and wildebeest to name but a few. The rough had its share of puff adders, which contributed to the players accurate and almost faultless play on the fairways and also better concentration.
