GEORGE NEWS - The George Business Chamber (GBC) held a corporate golf day in support of its The Entrepreneur programme at Fancourt on 26 September.
The day was attended by 84 players making up 21 teams from businesses based in George, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Gqeberha and Pretoria.
"The day is more than just a game," said Prof Adele Potgieter, director of the GBC, in a statement.
"It gives business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community members the opportunity to not only enjoy a round of golf, but to also contribute to a cause that promises to shape the future of entrepreneurship in our region."
She said that The Entrepreneur programme is designed to equip entrepreneurs with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to succeed.
"It's about more than just business acumen. We focus on fostering innovation, resilience and ethical leadership.
"The programme offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes workshops, mentorship and real-world business challenges."
