GEORGE NEWS - The Young Blues suffered a humiliating defeat of 8-0 against the Diego Masters on Saturday 28 October at the Lawaaikamp Stadium.
Young Blues, which has been struggling to find a permanent coach since last season, is currently under caretaker coach Ntandazo Mquma, who is still trying to find his feet in the team.
Mquma's first game with the club this season was a rather disappointing one as he had to watch the Masters giving his team a severe punishment. Wasting no time, the Masters scored two goals in the first half.
They capitalised on the weakness of the Blues' back line, which looked like it needed an awakening. In the second half, it was as if the opposition was non-existing as Masters shot one goal after the other, scoring six more goals.
Young Blues also lost their league's opening game by 2-1 against United Brothers.
