SOCCER NEWS - Paris United knocked out the Regional League's Fast Eleven 3-1 in a thrilling second semi-final Geolfa Easter Festival game at Thembalethu Stadium on Saturday afternoon, 26 April.
The game got off to a great start as Fast Eleven built their passes from the centre of the field.
They absorbed the pressure very well, blocking the quick touches from Paris United's wingers.
Paris United was awarded a penalty after a malicious tackle from Fast Eleven's defender.
Siyanda Kalo netted his penalty kick, making it 1-0, putting Paris United in the lead. Paris United controlled the game from the centre of the field, playing a more attacking style of football on the flanks.
The first half ended 1-0 for Paris United.
The second half started on a high note with both teams pushing for more goals.
Fast Eleven received a corner kick on the left side and Sonwabile Mafukula levelled the score on 1-1 with a powerful header into the box.
Paris United's offensive set play made Fast Eleven's backline panic. Paris United's right winger contributed some great wordk, delivering a delightful cross inside the box.

Fast Eleven were struggling to defend against Ayabulela Joja and Anele Pungwana's speed, supported by Thamsanqa Kebe on attack.
Paris United ultimately took the game from Fast Eleven, pushing for their third goal. Kebe scored it, making it 3-1, and Paris United went through to the final against Simunye FC.
