GEORGE NEWS - Paris United defeated Black Cats 3-2 at the Lawaaikamp Stadium on Saturday 11 November.
Paris United, which was recently promoted to the SAB Regional League after winning the Geolfa Championship and is now among the top five of the league, is intensifying its campaign to qualify for the Motsepe league.
Odwa Peterson, Mandlenkosi Prusent and Thabiso Booysen ensured the victory for their team by scoring the three goals. Sivuyile Ndiwa and Mivuyo Ngubo scored the two goals for the Cats in the first 20 minutes of the first half, but Paris caught up in the second half.
The game could have gone either way, but training and proper communication between the players always determine which team will be victorious at the end of the game.
During the second half, Black Cats' backline failed to slow down the speed of the Paris United wingers. Paris United capitalised on Black Cats' defensive errors to score their three goals.

The promising teams Eastern City and Diego Masters ended their SAB Promotional League match on Saturday 11 November with a 2-2 draw at the Thembalethu Stadium.
The game was difficult for both teams and they failed to dominate each other. However, they kept supporters entertained with deft handling of the ball.
The goals were scored by Mandisi Duna and Odwa Daba for Eastern City during the first half of the game. Diego Masters' goals were scored during the second half of the game by Siyabonga Aseni and Baphiwe Zondwayo.
Young Blues
Another team that performed very well over the weekend was Young Blues, which has been battling to win recently. Young Blues defeated Young Pirates 3-2 on Saturday 11 November at the Thembalethu Stadium, where they were already leading by two goals in the first minutes of the game.
Young Pirates managed to make a comeback and scored two goals, but the Young Blues players fought hard and overcame the disadvantage of two reds cards to win the game.
