GOLF NEWS - Seven Passes Initiative invites golfers to its Golf Day on Thursday 5 November at the George Golf Club.
It will be a Better Ball Stableford with loads of prizes, food and entertainment. The entry fee is R2 000 for a 4-ball.
People can become involved by sponsoring a green or tee for R1 000, a prize (big or small), the foyer (R2 000) or the halfway house (R2 000).
Any contributions are welcome.
Sponsors will be included in a PowerPoint presentation at the prize-giving, on Facebook, the Seven Passes Initiative website and in the local newspaper. For more information, phone the director, Wilmi Dippenaar, on 044 850 1267 or send an e-mail to wilmi@sevenpasses.org.za.
"We are excited and hope that golfers and sponsors will join in the fun but also, through their involvement, help hundreds of underprivileged children in the Touwsranten and Hoekwil rural community," says Dippenaar.
The day will start with a two-tee start at 8- or 10-minute intervals from 11:30 to 13:30, to be confirmed with regard to Covid regulations and guidelines.
