Amakhosi were drawn against last year’s losing finalist Platinum Stars in the opening round of the tournament that kicks off on September 30.
“It’s disappointing to lose in a cup final,” Gaxa said.
“That memory is still fresh. But there is nothing we can do about it because we can’t change it. It’s gone. We can only learn from it. We have to move forward and try to do well in our next game. We were defeated on Saturday, well done to Ajax.
“They played very well. We want to quickly forget about it and move on, focus on our new challenges. We are fortunate enough that we have another opportunity soon after that disappointment. We will try our level best to do well. Just as long as we perform, we will get the result.”
