SOCCER NEWS - A goal from Luke Frye helped FC Pacaltsdorp to secure a 1-1 draw against the Zone 9 team Abahlali FC in a Geolfa Promotional League fixture on Sunday 16 February at Thembalethu Stadium.
With 10 points, Abahlali FC is currently occupying the sixth position after playing six fixtures with three victories, one draw and two defeats. FC Pacaltsdorp are in the bottom half of the log.
FC Pacaltsdorp attacker, Luke Frye, was one of the best performers in their game against Abahlali, scoring a great goal for his side.
With no goals scored in the second half, the first half determined the outcome. The encounter started at a fast pace with both teams playing offensive football. Fanele Chele (Abahlali) scored the opening goal within the first 10 minutes.
While the Pacs side kept on pressing looking for opportunities to equalise, Chele used his experience to create more chances for the Zone 9 team.
