Black Cats secured their place in the final with a narrow 1-0 win over Super City, while NMU advanced after defeating Simunye 2-0 in the semi-finals.
The final began cautiously, with both sides displaying a balanced approach. NMU focused on building play from midfield, relying on the pace of Likamvelihle Dano in attack.
Black Cats, representing Lawaaikamp, looked dangerous on the flanks, with Oyisa Jantjies testing the defence early. Despite several attempts from both teams, the first half ended goalless.
