GEORGE NEWS - Last season's champions of the Safa Eden Regional Men's League, Black Cats FC, suffered another defeat away from home when they went down 3-2 against the struggling side Jomo Powers.
The match was played on Saturday afternoon, 29 January, at the Robinvale Sports Field in Cape Town.
It was the first victory of the season for the home team, Jomo Powers, who collected maximum points against Black Cats. Mbekweni Sundowns FC scored the most goals of the weekend - seven goals against Royal Blues FC from Beaufort West in Central Karoo.
Clarewood JPM also had positive results, sinking Gansbaai City 6-1.
