GEORGE CRICKET NEWS - George Action Sports entered two teams for the South African Indoor Cricket Tournament in Port Elizabeth between 24 and 30 March.
The u.18 Eden team did the province proud by winning the Fairplay Award. Wian Stander was selected as part of the South African u.18 indoor cricket team.
The u.10 Eden team also did exceptionally well by reaching the semi-finals.
Hanno Swart and Ruben Ludick were included in the SA u.10 indoor cricket team.
The SA indoor cricket teams will be touring the coastal arenas during the September / October school holidays where they will play against the local arena teams (u.10 - u.21).
The 2020 trials for all age groups, boys and girls, will take place next month. These teams will compete against the SA indoor cricket teams in September / October, as well as at the nationals next year.
