GEORGE NEWS - Glenwood House's Skylar Sauer has been praised for her outstanding efforts in a community project undertaken through the Junior City Council.
As part of her project, she was tasked with securing a donation of meat for Birds of Prey. She successfully secured a generous 62kg meat donation from Van Rensburg Butchery.
Skylar took responsibility for the process from start to finish, including writing emails, engaging with the staff and management, collecting the donation from the factory, and personally delivering it to the facility.
The team at Birds of Prey expressed their gratitude for the contribution, which will assist in the care and feeding of the birds under their supervision.
Glenwood House commended her for her professionalism, commitment and the positive impact she has made through the programme.
