GEORGE NEWS - Hoërskool Outeniqua's Dance Academy delivered a string of podium finishes at the South African Dance Teachers' Association's (Sadta) Garden Route Festival in George last term, showcasing their talent in ballroom and Latin American dance.

In the amateur beginner bronze youth Latin category, Pieter Durandt and Zoë Pretorius claimed first place, while Janco du Plooy and Unay Smit finished second. Ethan Maré and Mia du Preez completed the podium with a third-place finish.

Jessie de Villiers earned second place in the pro/am bronze junior Latin category.

George van der Merwe and Christelle van Heerden also impressed, taking first place in the amateur beginner bronze junior Latin category.

Christelle van Heerden and George van der Merwe claimed first place in the amateur beginner bronze junior Latin category at the Sadta Garden Route Festival in George.

The school congratulated all the dancers on their achievements and wished them well as they prepare for the Sadta Cape Classique Championships, which will take place in Cape Town in September.
