GEORGE NEWS - Thembalethu High School saw its matric pass rates go down to 68.1%, from 75.1% in 2024.
In total, 255 learners wrote the 2025 National Senior Certificate exams. The school’s matriculants achieved a total of 36 distinctions, 69 bachelor’s passes, 50 diploma passes and 54 higher certificate passes.
Two learners, Zintle Sonti and Esinako Nyameli, achieved distinctions in life sciences.
