POLITICS - Helen Zille, DA Federal Council Chairperson says the DA and the ANC held productive discussions today as part of ongoing negotiations regarding the Government of National Unity (GNU).
The meeting, led by DA leader John Steenhuisen, focused on critical issues including the national budget and strategies to drive economic growth.
Zille described the talks as "forthright and constructive," emphasising a shared commitment to addressing South Africa's most urgent challenges.
The delegations agreed to continue regular meetings to advance the GNU's objectives and tackle pressing national issues.
Zille said further discussions are expected as both parties work toward a unified approach to governance and economic recovery.
