NATIONAL NEWS - An Uber customer has allegedly been stabbed in the face in by a metered taxi driver in Johannesburg.
Musician Jack Parow has posted a picture of his friend on social media, which shows a man bleeding from the mouth.
Parow says the man was stabbed in Melville over the weekend for hailing an Uber by someone associated with meter taxis.
“I mean who else would want to do something like this? It’s not like the person tried to rob him. The person just walked up to him and stabbed him in the face three times as he was climbing into the car. He casually walked away. To make matter worse, the other driver asked him to get out of the car because he was bleeding on his seats.”
