Toddler dies after freak accident

NATIONAL NEWS - Friends, family and teachers are mourning the passing of a little girl who died after a freak accident over the weekend.

A four-year-old girl was declared dead in hospital after the gate to the property where her parents are currently renting from in Krugersdorp West, had fallen on her.

It is believed the little girl and her older sister ran to the gate to greet their father, when the older sister opened the gate, causing it to fall on her.

A family member told the News that the girl’s parents are currently struggling to come to terms with the tragedy and at this stage refuse to elaborate regarding the accident.
