NATIONAL NEWS - Workers at the office of the Public Protector say that they fear for their safety following threats made to advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane.
A brick was thrown through the window of Mkhwebane’s house last week and it is believed that it was done by people who wanted to gain entry to her home.
She also received threatening emails and text messages.
Mkhwebane’s spokesperson Cleopatra Mosana says the threats started after the CIEX report into Absa and the South African Reserve Bank was released.
“The Public Protector then received insults by social media which is degrading and they were also sent to me and people would say that this is a direct attack on the ANC government.”
