Leaked records show that public funds were allegedly laundered from a project via Dubai to pay for the family’s showcase wedding.
Mkhwebane’s office has refuted claims that Mkhwebane has met with the controversial family.
An investigation into the matter was declined by former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela in 2013.
Mkhwebane's spokesperson Cleopatra Mosana says: “All the issues that have been investigated have been finalised and published. The other issues that are not finalised are going to be published and the public will be informed.”
