New evidence suggests that the late Reeva Steenkamp may have flushed the toilet moments before she was shot and killed by boyfriend Oscar Pistorius, according to reports.
Journalist Barry Bateman explains in his book Behind the Door that Steenkamp probably flushed the toilet moments before she was shot. Bateman apparently hired an investigator to look into the question on whether Steenkamp flushed the toilet or not moments before she was killed.
The apparent new evidence has left people hanging, on why Gerrie Nel did not pose the question during the trial and from what reports suggests, it seem unlikely the evidence will be in the National Prosecuting Authority’s filing.
Pistorius, in his testimony said he heard noises from his cubicle which made him think it was a magazine rack moving, due to fear, Pistorius shot four times through a closed door.
