The mother, who wished to remain anonymous, was with her son at the time and said she became suspicious when she noticed the would-be robbers come into the shop.
“We were in the queue at the entrance,” she said.
“When the men entered the shop around 09:09 on Sunday, they just looked suspicious so I told my son we should leave.
“As I turned to leave, two men were standing in the entrance and one tried to pull me back into the store. I ripped myself loose and told my son to run.”
She said they informed a security guard about the attempted robbery.
