This is according to Police Minister Nkosinathi Nhleko’s report on security upgrades at the president’s home.
The minister was tasked with determining if the president was liable for some of the non-security upgrades including swimming pool, visitor's centre, cattle kraal and amphitheatre.
Last year, public protector Thuli Madonsela found that some features “went beyond what was reasonably required for Zuma's security.”
She recommended Zuma should repay a portion of the upgrades totaling approximately R250-million.
The findings were meant to be announced last night but the minister had to postpone to today to follow parliamentary procedures.
