The party says testimony from former Social Development Director General Zane Dangor and Sassa chief executive Thokozani Magwaza support its case that the Sassa crisis was deliberate.
The DA believes Social Development Minister Bathabile Dlamini slowed down the process because she would benefit financially through the continuation of a contract held by Cash Paymaster Services (CPS).
In an affidavit filed with the Constitutional Court this week, Dangor says his efforts to deal with the takeover of grant payments were undermined by Dlamini to ensure the contract with CPS could continue.
