Around 60 people were injured and two killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a bakkie on the R528 George’s Valley between Tzaneen and Haenertsburg in Limpopo on Sunday.
NATIONAL NEWS - Around 60 people were injured and two killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a bakkie on the R528 George’s Valley between Tzaneen and Haenertsburg in Limpopo on Sunday afternoon.

According to ER24, paramedics and a number of other services arrived at the scene after 1pm.

“They found people standing around a bus wedged against the Armco barrier and a Nissan Hard body (bakkie) with severe damage,” said a spokesperson.

Three people were still trapped inside the bakkie when paramedics arrived. They were freed by local fire and rescue services.
